August (they/them) is a photographer and spoken word poet based in Towson, MD. They enjoy the old school look and feel of film photography but will bring out the digital camera for special occasions. Their favorite things to photograph are animals, nature and their family. August has been writing poetry since they were a young kid and uses writing as a way to express themselves. Their favorite things to write about are mental health struggles, the trans experience and their experience with autism.
